1 Will and understanding are nothing beyond the
2 individual volitions and ideas (II. xlviii. and note).  But a
3 particular volition and a particular idea are one and the same
4 (by the foregoing Prop.); therefore, will and understanding are
5 one and the same.  Q.E.D.
